Train 792, the Northwest Talgo, departs Portland for Seattle. The Talgo equipment was in its first month of operation in the Northwest.

A special demonstration Talgo run returns to Portland from Salem. The train is passing the timetable east end of Southern Pacific's Brooklyn Yard.
